Metal detectors are responsible for many great finds when it comes to coin collecting!  Searching around old homes and schools are favorite places to search  Or maybe an abandon lot where a country store use to be.  Searching these type places with a Metal Detector have been known to produce very rare coins, including Wheat Pennies!
