I have a circulated 1954 penny with the hole in the ‘9′ filled in. Known error or what?
Hello Michael! In my opinion it is an error! I’ve seen it more than a few times at different websites and on Ebay in the past. As to the value, I don’t think it is considered a “rare” error that would give it great value!

I have a 1958 miss mented penny, Like when it was being pressed out, only went half way. Has a thick outside rim. Could this be worth some money? Will get a photo made.
Hi Dora! Of course it is worth something… the value depends on several things.. If you were to find a collector interested in that particular year or just interested in those type of errors it could mean more value as well.
